Phi Sisters Need Your Help

The safety of our undergraduate members has, is, and always will be the top priority for the House Corporation Board of Alpha Chi Omega Phi Chapter. The COVID-19 pandemic has reaffirmed that. While the collegians were back home for the end of the spring semester and summer break, the house corporation did everything in its power to ensure that the chapter house would be a safe environment for live-in members this fall.

As a result of members’ early departure from KU and unforeseen expenses to implement coronavirus-related safety protocols, the Alpha Chi Omega House Corporation Board has launched the “Supporting Our Sisters” campaign. Support to this campaign allows us to avoid a severe budget shortfall by covering unexpected expenses as a result of decreased facility occupancy and modifications to follow university and CDC recommendations. While the board is proud to lead the way in this effort, it is critical that this campaign receives support from our entire sisterhood to keep Phi financially sound.

As loyal alumnae, we made a lifelong commitment to live by the values of sisterhood and grow from our Phi undergraduate experience. We’ve achieved so much because of the support of our sisters and have been lifted up by them during difficult times. Now more than ever, Phi is relying on all of us to remain strong. It is our turn to give back to Phi by building up the chapter budget.

Phi Chapter hopes you and yours are also staying healthy and safe. We have enjoyed hearing stories of sisters staying connected virtually in recent months. The next time you talk with your sisters, please spread the word about the SOS campaign. Your support means more to us than you know, and it can’t wait. Together, we can help Phi prevail through the pandemic.
